Don’t Blame Me, I Voted for Gary Coleman

It took Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Terminator, only a month as governor to begin blatantly disregarding and publicly renouncing what little he actually revealed during his recall campaign, and it took him little more than a year and half to prove to the Uninted States that he can, and will, do virtually nothing positive for his economically devastated Californian constituents. Recent evidence, it seems, indicates that people have appropriately responded; polls reveal Arnold’s approval ratings to be lower than 45%, and still plumiting. These are sad times for Arnold. At almost every public address, nurse and teacher unions, considered some of the most powerful in the United States, are demonstrating in the thousands against his actions as governor. Shall I ask it: Has Governator met his final match?

After his November 2003 victory against the widely disliked incumbent, Gray Davis, Schwarzenegger was buoyed to popularity by his near bipartisan support and near impenetrable celebrity charm. Having absolutely no understanding or experience with human government, poor grasp of the English language, and revealing almost nothing about his objectives as The Governator, Schwarzenegger’s celebrity charm quickly wore thin.

While Arnold promised to only cut school funding, “over my dead body,” he has proposed a plan to dissolve portions of school teacher tenure, school teacher payment based partially on merit, as well as a reallocation over two billion from the public school systems. Schwarzenegger is planning to begin aggressive campaign for the public to support his unconstitutional, GOP favoring gerrymandering, a call for redistricting and early elections, as well as his plan to privatize public employee pension. If the legislature calls his bluff, Arnold will be facing the people with a significantly depleted hand.

Terminator 2 is one of the greatest action movies of all time, so get off Arnold's back!

And to think that some people ACTUALLY wanted to amend our Constitution so that this guy could be our President!

Looks like the Governator is going to be terminated in the near future...

Hey Max!

Can you recommend a good primer for Social Security-related issues? I'm no dumbass about social security, but the debate that has descended on this country has finally caught up to me, and I must confess that I'm not as knowledgeable about the program as I should be. Any suggestions?
