Cameron's Culture

I wrote a short story about suburban adolescence.
He is not a kid, but he is not a grown-up either. And in this no-man’s-land between the innocence of childhood and the dreariness of adulthood, right off Route 35, is Cameron’s Deli, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Read it and tell me what you think.

Added:

The Lewisboro Ledger's take on the story.

"Where some of the pieces could have been racy, most of the presenters censored themselves. Max Novendstern’s story Cameron’s Culture was punctuated by occasional uses of the word “obscenity” to fill in for less acceptable words.

Many of the works were autobiographical or personal, such as Molly Chambers’ essay, titled My Favorite Place in the World. Others, like Max’s story, were more fanciful" [Emphasis added].
