Do ‘religious clothes’ now vindicate our connection with god, or are they merely an expression of cynicism through irony? Are they a marketing ploy based on scandal, or an attempt at self justification? Sarcastic, patronizing, and depreciative displays of modern nihilism, or something more sincere? Post your comments.

It seems like "Jesus Loves Me" is such an "un-chic" term that integrating it into fashion makes those who wear it "chic". Kinda like how the old, faded t-shirts from thrift stores aren't poo-pooed: they're so uncool, they become a statement of coolness.
Anyway... you won't see ME becoming a corporate whore and loving Jesus. No-sir-eee-bob.
